Google home mini can't connect to wifi

Hello,

I am trying to set up my Mini  but when I get to connect the device at Google Home on the internet, I get Security policy prevents use of unsecure Wi-Fi networks.  

The Wi-Fi I'm trying to connect is definitely secure! 

It seems strange that

Google Mini will not connect via a GOOGLE-Built ANDROID platform.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry for the inconvenience. Would like to know if you are setting this up on a private or public network? Also, try to check if mobile data is turned on, if so, turn it off and set it up again. Try using a different mobile phone if that did not work.
