Google home mini gen 1 will not reset

Help my google home mini will not reset I have tried to the factory reset button with no change, I have also tried to unplug for 10 seconds and plug it back in 11 time with no change

I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you’re having with your Google Home Mini device. Is it showing four steady white lights? Do they change whenever you press the reset button at the bottom?

Hi ... I have a Gen ` Google Mini, that refuses to rest to factory defaults, according to the Google Home Android app. I keep getting pressing and holding, first the Google G on the bottom of the speaker. Took forever.

Also tried the recommended Press and hold the switch for Muting. NB. push the switch into the speaker, not hold the switch one side or the other horizontally. This took forever as well ( forever = 4 minutes ).

Google Home once again said it needed to be factory reset
