Google home mini won't power on

The Google Home Mini was working perfectly fine, but suddenly there was a spark in the adapter, and it stopped working. Now, it won't power on even when connected to the laptop's USB port, which used to work before. The LEDs on the speaker also don't light up, even when I try resetting it.
