Google home only does 7 hour timers!

We use the timer feature all the time on our Google Home Mini.  It used to be fine but recently it has started making incorrect timers.  Every time I say 'hey google, set a timer for 20 minutes', it goes 'ok, timer set for 7 hours and 45 minutes'.

Any ideas as to why this happens?

I can set an alarm for a specific time no problem, but the timer just doesn't work anymore.

Thanks for reaching out — let's check what's going on.

Could you check your My Activity page if your Home Mini heard you correctly? Try rebooting your Home Mini as well. If same thins happens, resetting your device might help too.
