This locked thread references an exact issue (down to media being played, white noise during sleep) I've dealt with for years, and is the biggest disappointment I've had to deal with regarding my Google home/nest speakers: https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Speakers-and-Displays/Keeps-cutting-out-when-playing-Spotify/...
I'll preface this by saying that I own and use ~15 separate Google Home/Nest/Mini/Hub/Hub Max speakers/displays throughout my house, all connect through a Google WiFi (1st gen) 3-AP mesh setup. Speedtest and fast.com test consistently provide above-30mbps speeds through various rooms and positions in the house. All of the various devices and computers I own very rarely have any issues connecting to the internet.
All of my speakers/displays are roughly ~85% reliable when playing music, though I don't think I've ever had any issues with my Chromecast devices, so it seems this may only be an issue with speakers/displays.
The issue is not reproducible but will happen consistently once it begins, cutting out at seemingly random intervals for varying measures of time. My best guess is that the size/amount of buffer downloaded to the device when playing media falls short when racing against the time reported on the track. This should be increased two-fold, if not more, and have the option for a variable buffer size when playing music from Spotify or another source.
The issue is very disruptive when I'm trying to sleep and has woken me up on many occasions.
My suggestion is to encourage employees working on this project to consider this issue and try to reproduce it themselvels to attempt to find a parent

Hi ryanweber88,
Thanks for visiting the Community.
I appreciate all the details you've shared. Since you have multiple Google Nest speakers set up in your home, could you please list down all the speakers affected by this issue? Also, we'd like to get the cast firmware version of each so we can check on it further.
To check which firmware version you're on, follow these steps:
Looking forward to your response.
