Hey Spunky,

Thanks for reaching out.

A few questions: what country are you located in? Was it working before? Also, make sure your Google Home and Google Fit app are updated.

For starters, make sure you're using a personal Google Account and Motion Sense is turned on.

  1. From the bottom of the display, swipe up.
  2. Tap Settings > Motion Sense > turn on Motion Sense.

To set up Sleep Sensing, try the following steps:

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Tap the display > Settings.
  3. Tap Sleep Sensing > set up Sleep Sensing.
  4. Follow the in-app instructions to allow Sleep Sensing on the display.
  5. Tap Set a bedtime schedule.
  6. Set the time you sleep and wake up.
  7. The following features are optional, and you can turn them on to better track sleep and get educational sleep tips:
    • Sound events tracking
    • Personalized sleep tips
  8. Calibrate the sleep spot to finish the setup.

Once done, you need to calibrate you display to recognize where you sleep.

  1. From the bottom of the display, swipe upwards.
  2. Tap Settings > Sleep Sensing > turn on Sleep Sensing > Calibrate device.
  3. Follow the instructions on the display to use Sleep Sensing.

Hope this helps.

Best,
Alex
