Has anyone had any experience with their Nest Hub Max freezing while displaying photos (from Google photos) or even artwork (Google curated artwork). I am now on my 2nd Nest Hub Max device and continue to have the same problem. Photos will change (I have the time set to 30s) for a bit of time, but then the device freezes on one photo. All other aspects of the device work just fine. The only way to start the photoframe moving again seems to be to open up Google Home and click on "Edit Photoframe". As soon as I do that, the photos start cycling through again.
I have called Google more times than I can count, after 2 months they replaced the first unit that was doing this, but now it's happening on the new unit also.
Help!

Have you tried setting the time interval to something longer than 30 seconds to see if it's the short interval that's part of the problem?

I've been at 10s and 30s, have not tried 1 minute. Why do you think this would be an issue? No one from Google has suggested this before.

Sorry, I forgot I am currently set at 1 minute. Problem still exists.

I suggested it just in case the short interval is causing Google Nest to not keep up with loading a new photo so frequently. Ours is set to 10m.

I tried 5 minutes, worked well for about 12 hours and then froze. Will try 10 minutes now. Anyone have this same issue??

I don't understand why, but 10 minutes seems to be the magic number (so far)! Thank you for the assistance, don't know why Google couldn't suggest this months ago?

Maybe Google Nest doesn't know that they seem to have a defect that causes Photo Frame to freeze at refresh intervals less than 10 minutes.

Hi folks,
@MplsCustomer, thanks for the help.
gkal24, thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us. A few things: could you provide the case number that was provided when you contacted our support team? Are you using a dual band router? If so, which band is it connected to? What is the distance between your Nest Hub Max from your router?
Keep me posted.
Thanks,
Juni

10 minutes between photos? That's an awfully long time. I just changed to 3 minutes. I will watch it tonight into tomorrow to see if it makes a difference.
