My google mini keeps disconnecting from my account, I have to “link” it to my account at least 8 times a day and it’ll unlink within minutes. Even when I link it to the account it still does not work and continues to say “please log in through the google home app” and hasn’t been working properly since the latest update. I’m unsure of what to do because I’ve tried removing it completely from my account and re linking it and it still does that. Any suggestions? Anyone dealing with this issue as well?

I am guessing it is a 2nd gen, with the whole in the back for wallmounting?
I have the exact same issue, in fact if you search on the net you'll find lots of complains. Unfortunately google has not yet taken the complain seriously. I am hoping it is a sw issue and not hw and google starts to take this complain seriously

I had the same problem for couple of months until yesterday it stopped working at all. Plugged out and plugged back in the morning. Lights came on and after minute or so went off. Mic is on or off doesn't responding to touches or anything and can't even factory reset it because there is no physical button. It just became useless peace of rubbish. Had it for 4 years. Seems like time came for Alexa

For factory reset, turn off the mic. Then press your finger against the speakere and wait. It will factory reset. There is indeed no visible button. This actually works pretty good i must say. Obviously i didnt buy it because of this. I bought it because it is supposed to be a smart speaker. I wish i bought the 1st gen, that one actually works flawlessly
