Google nest audio speakers not working anymore after being unplugged

Hi,

We had 2 google nest audio speakers.
When we are away from home for a longer time we unplug most of our electrical devices to protect them against eg lightning striking the house during our absence.

We do the same with our 2 google nest audio speakers.

The first one already broke a couple of months ago after being unplugged for 2 weeks. Conveniently this happened 1 month after the guarantee expired.....

Now we unplugged our second speaker for 3 weeks due to being on holiday, and the same happened. It does not work anymore when we plugged it back in...

Anyone experienced the same?

Ofcourse both speakers break down with the same issue just a couple of months after the guarantee expired....

Hi jgrieten,

 

I’m sorry to hear about what happened with your Google Nest Audio speakers. A few questions: are you still using the official power cord that came with them? Have you tried switching power cords? Did you plug it into a different wall outlet?

Hi,

 

Yes we tried all that with the first one that broke.

Now with the second one we do not have another power cord anymore, but we treid different power sockets.

We only used the official power cords that came with the speakers.
