I have previously connected my google nest audio as a windows 11 bluetooth speaker since I dont have other speakers. It mostly works fine unless my pc goes to sleep.
After that even if in the bluetooth devices it says paired but it is in the category other not in the audio devices. No matter how many times I remove it and pair it again it never goes to audio devices and I have no sound.
It is only fixed if I hard reset the nest audio.
Does anyone have a solution please?
Thank you

@Stelito are you still able to use nest audio as a Bluetooth speaker once hard reset is complete?
I can connect nest audio to my PC but then I cannot higher the volume from 0%.
No way to hear sound from nest audio. Any idea?

I have two Nest speakers paired to a Windows 11 PC that stopped working. I did the hard reset of both. But Win 11 still will not recognize them as an "audio" device. Any idea what to do?

Found a work around!
Ask your Nest to "Turn On Bluetooth" (go to your Home App settings and clear all previous BT Conections)
Go to the old Control Panel (Open an explorer window and type in Control Panel in the Adress Bar), Go to Devices and printers, click on Add Device, it will show the Nest Speaker there, Add it, and it will be paired once again!
Tell me if it worked!

Hey all,
Sorry for the late reply. I wanted to check in, and see if you are still having issues with your device and its Bluetooth connection? Did the workaround Romani48 post help you out? Please let me know, as I would be happy to review further.
Best regards,
Jake

Neither for me.
Once it does this "shadow" disconnect, It can only be connected by reseting it
