Google nest hub “camera feed is not available” for uniden baby camera

The nest hub has been displaying our uniden baby monitor feed without issue for 9 months but is suddenly displaying “camera feed is not available”. I have tried turning the camera on and off, re linking it to google home with no luck. It’s weird as the camera feed works with no issues on our phones but won’t work on the nest hub?

Same issue here with a baby monitor from Maxi Cosi that was streaming fine on both a nest hub and Lenovo smart display until a couple of days ago.

Also same issue with Maxi Cosi Baby Monitor. I have been displaying it on a Nest Hub max until few days ago without issue. From then on "camera feed not available" is displayed on the screen. I have tried to reboot both systems, unlink and link account with google home assistant, but so far nothing has worked

I have the exact same situation with my Uniden. Bern streaming for 10 months without issue. Must clearly be a Google problem if we are all experiencing it.

We're sorry to hear about this experince. Could you please provide the cast firmware version of your Nest Hub display?

 

To check which firmware version you're on, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is linked to the same account as your speaker or display.
  2. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  3. Touch and hold your device's tile.
  4. At the top right, tap Settings and then Device information.
  5. Under "Technical information," find Cast firmware: X.XXX.XXXXX.

Also, it would be very helpful if you could attach a photo of the message you're getting so we can check on it further.

Cast firmware is 1.56.309385

I will try to get an image when it happens, but it's happening less now. It's just very inconsistent.

Hi! In my case it started to work again but very inconsistently, as in it works for 1h or so and then it gives me the same error screen “camera feed is not available”. Nest Hub: 1.60.305621 . Lenovo: 1.56.285116
