Thanks for reaching out and I apologize for the late response. I'm sorry to hear your new Nest Hub is overheating as this is not the experience we want and I'd love to ensure this is resolved.
Before moving forward, have you tried factory resetting the device? If not, could you please do so and let me know if your device is still overheating? Please note factory resetting your device will restore it to its default settings and also clear your device's data.
