Had this device in the same spot with same wifi for nearly 2 years and now for some reason has lost wifi connection

Rebooted several times deleted /reinstalled device will not work where it has stood as a say for 2 years.

If I place it in the same room as router works fine but shift it back to where I want it same problem .

Sounds like something changed with your internet company..like maybe your signal isnt as strong as it used to be. I have heard that certain electronic or furniture can interfer if its in between where your router and device are. Something I might try would be to get a wifi extender. They are fairly cheap and easy to use, you can find them on amazon or an electronic store. I am just a customer like you and this is just what i might try. I only answered because i noticed no one else did. 🙂

Hello everyone,

Thanks for lending a hand, @Alyoop25.

@JimGxx, please check with your Internet Service Provider and configure the following recommended router settings:

  • Enable: Universal Plug and Play (UPnP), multicast, Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP)
  • Disable: AP / client isolation, virtual private networks (VPNs), proxy servers, IGMP Proxy. VPNs and proxy servers should be disabled (if applicable).

Keep me posted.

Best,

Lovely
