Google nest mini first gen

At first when I turned my nest on after having it unused/unplugged for a while, it had one green light and two white lights.

online said that was an update so I left it plugged in all night and it still said displayed that 8 hours later.

I held the reset button and now two white lights in the middle are displayed.

Hi Courtney2,

Thanks for reaching out to the community! I'm sorry your Google Home Mini (1st gen) is showing a green and two white lights after plugging it back in for a while. I appreciate all your efforts in trying to get it working again by letting it be plugged in all night and pressing the reset button. Let's work together to find a solution! To diagnose the root of the inconvenience I'd like to suggest trying the following steps:

  • On the bottom of Home Mini, press and hold the factory reset button below the power cable. Locate the circle etched into the base.
  • After 5 seconds, your device will begin the factory reset process. Continue to hold for about 10 seconds more, until a sound confirms that the device is resetting.

If you're still having inconveniences factory resetting your Google Home Mini (1st gen), go to Issues when you reset your Google speaker.

Keep me posted.

Regards,
Juan
