I have been having this thing since 2022 and I swear I’ve only been able to use it, without any issue twice.
The most resent issue is my husband did a factory restart on it, because we hadn’t been able to use it in a very long time and I wanted to so I asked him about it.
He set it up, set up wifi connection. immediately after it connected to wifi successfully, got an error message saying
“ Something Went Wrong
Kitchen speaker may be set up, but we can not communicate with it from your iphone. Make sure that you have enabled local network access in your iPhone’s privacy settings. Then try again.”
He kept retrying, unsuccessfully. He gave up and I tried like maybe 3 times and it finally was successful. Still don’t know why it was tripping.
a few days went by and I noticed it wasn’t playing my apple music playlists. I reset it again and now just keep getting that same exact error message after it says it connected to wifi.
I’m over it.
