I have had two Google Nest Hubs for well over a year which were working perfectly and one of the little round mini speakers. They simply stopped working at the same time around 17 August. I have turned off and disconnected cable and also turn my router on and off. I have done several factory resets. I have also deleted and reinstalled the Google Home app in trying to work a solution to why I can't get connected. The Nest Hub connects to the internet (I've been able to connect to both 5G and 2.4) - it seems to remember the configurations I previously used - on the last step of the set up and it says "Configuring Your Nest Hub" and the Nest Hub display says "Finish Set up", the error message on my mobile says "There was a problem setting up Nest Hub" and under this "For help resolving this issue, visit the Help Centre" and the choice to Leave setup or select Help Centre. The Help Centre provides info about rebooting, unplugging power cord. When I go to the Devices tab of of the Google Home App - the device is showing but "not playing" - I can open Device settings and make changes ie under Art Gallery I can select Family & Friends or Curated Art BUT the Google Nest Display is sitting on "Finish Set-up". I press this and the screen goes white. I turn on and off and I have the little circles going around and around. I' tried doing factory reboot from my phone and I'm able to - screen chimes & shows a G, then the circles start going around again. That's it. I can only attempt to set up again by doing a factory reset holding the up and down sound keys.
Other things connected in my Google Home app (light globes, my Samsung tv and the ability to turn my air conditioning on and off) are all working.
Does anyone have any suggestions please to resolve?

Hi MishinMelbourne,
I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you’re having with your Google Nest Hub. Let’s get this sorted out. Do you have another phone or tablet? Factory reset your Google Nest Hub and set it up using a different set up device. If the issue persists, do this workaround:
If the setup was successful on the temporary Hotspot, the issue is likely with the connection of your Google Nest Hub to your home WiFi. Try to change the connection from the hotspot to your WiFi. From the home view of the Google Home app, tap Devices > Choose your Google Nest Hub > Settings > Device information > WiFi > Forget WiFi. Switch the connection of the set up device from the hotspot to your WiFi > Open the Google Home app > Do the normal set up process again.
Regards,
Alex
