Google (+other) Speaker issues with chromecast built-in.

Hi, is there any info on what google is working on considering their built-in cast enabled speakers (and OEM's).?

The reason i'm asking, is that my whole setup right now is based on chromecast for multiroom, and there have been a ton of issues (some known, some after the legal issues with sonos).

Many issues are there because of different cast versions on different speaker brands, which IMO is totally useless.. Why didnt Google have demands on updates when they let others use their cast software..?

It would be nice to know if Google are in fact even working on improving this functionality and music in cast at all, or i maybe have to give up, and look elsewhere (Sonos..)

Apologies for the delayed reply. I know having issues with your speakers are never ideal. I did check with our Team, and provided them with your feedback, as we are always looking to improve our products. At this time, I do not have any further details on when an update would come out. I know this is not the most ideal answer, and I would be happy to review any questions you may have.
