Groups (speakers) not working

Hi all.

i own a Mini, Audio and Hub sec gen.
On their own, they work fine. But in a group i have some issues.

Good to know: i have a high speed Mesh network that has no issues.

I use my Hub and Audio speaker in my livingroom. When i ask to play music on group ‘livingroom’, it starts playing on the Hub only. When i open the Google Home app and press on both speakers i shows the volume and options. But the music doesnt play on both speakers. They are in the same group.

When i ask both speakers if they have internet they tell me they do.

Strange thing is, it did work when i installed the mesh network. For a month or so. Then it started to give issues.

I reinstalled both speakers from scratch. Still same issue.

Anyone know this problem that can help?

Hi Wvdwaa,

Thank you for posting in the Community forum.

I really appreciate it when you reinstalled your speakers from scratch, that narrows things down. Next step would be to do a sequential reboot by unplugging your devices starting with your router followed by your Nest speakers. Restarting your phone might also help. Plug them back also in the same sequence.

If the behavior is still the same, have you tried doing the factory reset to revert your devices back to its default and original settings? If not then follow the steps on this link.
