HBO MAX/Max compatibility

HBO Max (now MAX) has never been supported by Google Home as a linkable service. While services like Netflix and Hulu are supported for voice commands, MAX continues to be unsupported to play shows through voice commands. When will this change or why has it not changed?

I know it would be fun and convenient to have Max channel available on Google Nest displays. Right now, here are the only channels that are available on Google Nest. Here are the list of channels you can enjoy.
