It won’t listen to play music or tell me what the weather is. How can I connect it

Let’s try playing your favorite songs and get you to ask the weather for the day. To start with, what Google Nest speaker do you have? Is it already hooked up to your Google Home app or is it just not responding to your command? Let’s narrow it down for us to know where to start.
