Help with sleep calibration

Hi there. I just started setting up my new device but the sleep sensing feature will not calibrate. I’ve tried at least 30 times and moved the device higher, lower, moved myself further, closer, etc , absolutely nothing is working. I just keep getting an error message. Can anyone help? Thanks
