Hi Popbri806,
Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear that you hear about the situation that you are experiencing with the Apple Music and your Google Speaker device while you are trying to play music. But don't worry; I can help. In this case, I just need to confirm if you linked your accounts with the next steps:
- Make sure that your mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as the speaker or display.
- Open the Google Home app.
- Tap account (your initial or their profile picture).
- Verify the Google Account on screen is the one linked to the speaker or display. To switch accounts, tap the down arrow icon > choose another account or Add another account.
- Tap X to close the Account window.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Add > Service > Music.
- To choose a default service, select the preferred music service available. The assistant uses this choice when you use the voice command “Hey Google, play music.”
- Link function:
- For YouTube, the account is automatically linked when you set up the speaker or display.
- For Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, and others, you need to link your account.
- To connect the account, tap a music service > Link Account > sign in or sign up for the service > follow the in-app steps.
Please keep me posted. I'll be waiting for your response.
Best regards,
Jenny
