I have 2 home mini's that all of the sudden won't connect to my network. I tried to reboot and then reconnect and that didn't work. I factory reset both of them and tried to add them back to my home network get through all the steps to add it and get an error message that they can't connect to the network. I have verified that I'm trying to connect to the same network that my phone is on, but it's just been a doom loop of factory resetting, adding them back in and still not being able to connect. Please advise. Thank you.

Hi Eden1,
Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing trouble connecting to your Google speakers. I understand how frustrating that can be, and I'm here to help.
To begin troubleshooting, could you please answer the following questions:
What model of Google speaker do you have?
What is the make and model of your Wi-Fi router?
What frequency band are you using for your Wi-Fi network (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)?
What operating system and version is your phone running?
Are you using a VPN on your phone?
Are any other devices on your Wi-Fi network experiencing connectivity issues?
Please provide your responses to the questions. I look forward to your response.
Regards,

Hi Isskes1,
Thank you for your response. Let's work together for a solution.
I understand that you have already followed some steps previously; please follow these in the following order.
Before we begin, please ensure your phone or tablet is within 2-3 meters (6-10 feet) of the Google device.
Here are the troubleshooting steps we can try:
Basic Checks:
App Restart: Close and reopen the Google Home app.
Device Restart: Restart your phone or tablet.
Device Restart: Restart your Google speakers.
Airplane Mode Toggle: Enable Airplane mode on your phone or tablet, then manually turn Bluetooth and Wi-Fi back on.
Advanced Troubleshooting:
Alternative Device: Try using a different phone or tablet for the pairing process.
Network Restart: Restart your router, Wi-Fi extender (if used), and modem.
Device Factory Reset: Perform a factory reset on your Google speakers.
Mobile Hotspot Test: Temporarily create a mobile hotspot on a different phone and connect the device to that hotspot. This helps isolate network issues.
Home Structure Troubleshooting:
New Home Structure Test: Create a new "Home" in the Google Home app and attempt to pair the device there.
If successful and you prefer the new Home: You can delete the old Home and reset and re-add all devices to the new Home.
If successful and you prefer to keep the old Home: Remove all devices from the old Home, ensure all devices are on the same network (check network settings in Google Home), and then re-pair the devices.
Please try these steps and let me know the results.
I look forward to your response so we can get this resolved.
Regards,
Kevin

Hi Isskes1,
Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing trouble connecting your Google Home Mini speakers to your Google Home app. I understand how frustrating that can be, and I'm here to help.
To begin troubleshooting, could you please answer the following questions:
What is the make and model of your Wi-Fi router?
What frequency band are you using for your Wi-Fi network (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)?
What operating system and version is your phone running?
Are you using a VPN on your phone?
Are any other devices on your Wi-Fi network experiencing connectivity issues?
In addition to answering these questions, please try the following steps:
Check Device Proximity:
Move your Home Minis closer to your Wi-Fi router. Ideally, they should be within 15 to 20 feet (5 to 6 meters) of the router during setup.
Reboot Your Wi-Fi Router:
Unplug your Wi-Fi router from the power outlet, wait for about 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. Allow your router to fully restart.
Reboot Your Google Home Minis:
Unplug the power from your Home Minis, wait for about 30 seconds, and then plug them back in.
Perform a Factory Reset:
If you haven't already, please perform a factory reset on your Home Minis again. Ensure you follow the official Google reset instructions for your specific device.
Try a Different Wi-Fi Band (Dual-Band Routers Only):
If your router supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, try setting up the Home Minis on the other band. Sometimes, one band might experience interference.
Temporary Mobile Wi-Fi Hotspot (Only if they don't connect to your Wi-Fi network):
As a test, try setting up a temporary mobile Wi-Fi hotspot on your phone and attempt to connect the Home Minis to that network. This helps determine if the issue is with your home Wi-Fi or the devices themselves.
Please provide your responses to the questions and let me know if the problem persists after trying these steps. I look forward to your response.
Regards,
Kevin
