Home & Work - Nests play at wrong location

I have two locations with multiple Nest Minis. Home & Work. When I broadcast at Home, it's playing on the minis at Work. I've checked all the settings and I'm not seeing anything wrong. What am I missing?

Thank you so much for your response. Yes, we are still having issues with this 😞 I consider myself pretty techie but I can't figure this one out. Any help would be super appreciated!

I am sorry again for the late reply, and to hear you are still running into the issue. I would recommend double-checking your home and work address inside the app. This may help resolve the issue you are running into with it playing in the wrong location.

 

  1. Open the Google Home app .
  2. At the top, make sure your home name is listed. If needed, tap the name to change your home.
  3. Tap Settings and then Home information and then Home address​.
  4. Tap Edit and then Enter your address and then Next.
  5. Drag the map so the pin is on your home and tap Done.

Hey geekiemommie,

 

To make sure, are you broadcasting from one of your Google Nest Mini at home? If so, are they connected on the same home structure on your Google Home app? Try resetting one of your Nest Mini to see if you'll get the same result.
