Home hub max stuck on the Assistant swirling circles

My Home Hub Max recently has been stuck on the swirling circles for hours on end. 

I can take the power cable out and then it restarts ok but a few days later it will happen again. Thought it was an update but I checked and it's on the latest firmware 1.56.265669

I have another two regular Nest Hub displays 1st generation with no issues. Just the Hub Max is having these issues. 

Power is ok and WiFi is ok. 

Not tried any factory resets yet as I wanted to check here first. 

Any ideas?

Its been a few weeks now since the original post and I have not seen that happen again. I can only assume it was an update getting stuck. All good now!
