Home mini can't turn my lights

My google home mini can't change colors or turn light on/off but i can normally control that on my phone. 

What's wrong?

I had this exact issue start happening today as well. Yesterday, I asked it to turn office light off/on, no problem. Today, "Sorry, I don't understand" over and over again.

Same here! About 1am est I was able to turn on lights. Today at 11am est its keeps telling me "Sorry, I don't know how to do that"

Same here. Happened within the last 3 hours or so for me. I can change the settings of my lights but I can't turn them on or off. I just keep getting "sorry I don't understand".

Same here in the last hour (in the uk)

Everything else seems to work apart from lights and plugs

Same here UK too. Although it started on and off about a week ago. Now nothing responding

Same here, I have rebooted the router, I have rebooted each Mini google by unplugging and waiting a minute or 2. Google can give me weather and everything else, just will NOT control any lights. Help!!

Also, can't set timers "Hey Google, set a timer for 10 minutes" "Sorry, I don't understand"

From my google history:

Said set a timer for 10 minutes
Sorry, I don't understand.
Sorry, I didn't understand.
AND
Said switch off the lights
Sorry, I didn't understand.
Sorry, I don't understand.
 
Although:
Said make the lights black
 
Seems to be a workaround to switch them off 🤣

....and, while I was writing this it now seems to fixed and working properly again
