Hey JesterP,

Welcome to the Google Nest Community Forums.

Great question! Controlling the volume of Assistant voice separately on any Google Home/Nest speakers and displays is not yet supported. We're always looking for ways to improve. We'll take this as feedback and pass it along to the team.

I also suggest that you send feedback via voice command by saying, "Hey Google, send feedback," or by following the steps on this LINK.

Cheers,

Muddi

My Home Mini has the same issue. At 50% volume the music is loud and so is the voice, but at 5% the music is soft and the voice is still loud. It feels like the voice is waking up the whole house from my bedroom speaker every time it runs my morning routine.

RayKay I found the fix for this. You have to enable night mode and assign a time and volume level for the assistant. Here are the steps.

Step 1. Turn on Night mode
  1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is linked to the same account as your speaker or display.
  2. Open the Google Home app .
  3. Select your device.
  4. Tap Settings. Notifications & digital wellbeing.
  5. Tap Night mode. Enable night mode.
