Something has changed with the Google Home Speaker's firmware. I can whisper a command 6inches away from a speaker, and EVERY speaker in the house will respond.
It's impossible that they ALL could have heard what I said. Even though I've lowered the "Hey Google" sensitivity all the way down on those speakers...it makes NO difference.
It is MAJORLY annoying starting a stream, and EVERY speaker in the house starts playing.
Again...it's impossible when whispering a command, that speakers 50feet down the hall could POSSIBLY have heard.
I have 6 speakers, and been using these devices for 5years...something has changed with the developers, and the when whole **bleep** thing is BROKEN!

I’m having the same issue as well think it’s something to do with the sonos lawsuit

I don't mind at all if the Google developers made the devices MORE sensitive, as long as they modify the app to have a greater sensitivity range so I can adjust them optimally.
But just -2 down and +2 up...isn't enough. There needs to be more levels down to reduce the sensitivity even more.
Wouldn't think that's asking too much.

So I removed all eight Google Devices (including two Chromecasts), deleted/created a whole new "Home" name, uninstalled the Google Home App, reinstalled it, added back all devices...still no difference.
I find it hard to believe I'm the only one with this issue. Can't get any help from Google nor the community...so I turned ON the "Preview Program" hoping for a firmware upgrade to extend the sensitivity levels (both - and +).
Otherwise, the whole system has become useless. Thanks for ANY input or guidance from Google and the Community.
Regards...
