How to change the time zone?

Hi,

My brand new Nest Hub Max is on PST. 
I am in New York with Optimum internet provider. No VPN being used. Checked older similar posts, but I don’t have a Time section under any settings. I’m using Google home on my   ios phone.
Please advise

Thank you for a prompt response 
I did follow your steps up until “Device settings“ which I don’t have. That has been my problem. 
When I tap settings icon on the top right, I get these options 

General

© Device information

& Recognition & sharing

À Notifications & digital wellbeing

Device features

Photo Frame

• Display

MD Audio

Accessibility

4 Voice & video calls

• Nest Cam

Remove device

Scroll down to the "Device settings" section and tap on "More".

Our Nest Hub Max does NOT have a "time zone" option, only a "time format" option.  None of our Google Nest devices have a "time zone" option.

Our timezone is determined by our location.

Perhaps doing a factory reset on the Nest Hub Max would help (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7073477?hl=en&sjid=17428968475804456862-NA#zippy=%2Cgoo...)

I did factory reset the device, and set it up from scratch. I have my time displayed correctly.
