I’m using Google Home device to play music on my Chromecast with Google TV.
My problem is that when I want to play music only, then no matter what command I use it will always use regular YouTube and play video clips on my TV. I want to be able to only play audio using YouTube music app without having distracting videos playing on my TV.
I was able to do this in my old Chromecast Ultra without any problems so I ended up having Chromecast Ultra and Chromecast with Google TV connected to the same TV and I am forced to use one of them for the music only , and the second one for anything else.
I find it frustrating and I think newer generation device should be able to accomplish whatever older generation was capable off.
My question is whether it’s possible to change settings to allow this to work the way I would like. I hope I’m just not aware of some configuration and I would be thankful if somebody could tell me on how to fix that.
