Hey Laina,

Thanks for posting, and apologies for the delayed response. I know how it feels when you can't connect your Google Home/Nest speaker to your network. Your device can only connect to one network at a time and it is best if you reset it first prior to connecting to a new router. Visit this link for the steps on how to reset your device.

Below are additional steps that you can try:

  1. Reboot your Google Home Mini and router by disconnecting them from the power source and leave them unplugged for 1 minute. Once done, plug them back one at a time with intervals.
  2. Turn WiFi on and off on the mobile setup device.
  3. If you have a dual-band router, try setting up your speaker or display on both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.

Please note that your speaker is not compatible with public WiFi networks such as business networks, shared apartment networks, school dorm networks, school networks, and mobile hotspots or pocket WiFi devices.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers,

Muddi
