how to make the screen brighter at night?

Nothing is visible in night mode
checked all settings, currently all brightness settings are set to maximum2024-09-23 18.12.16.png

Why can't you disable screen dimming?

This problem has been around for many years, I think a simple "turn off night view" switch would solve this problem for many users

I understand you're trying to adjust the screen brightness on your Google Nest Display but are finding the settings maxed out. Don't worry; I'm here to help!

 

First, could you please confirm the exact model of your Google Nest Display?

 

In the meantime, one thing we can try is disabling the Night mode. Here's how:

 

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Tap Favorites or Devices.
  3. Tap the preferred speaker or display.
  4. At the top right, tap Settings, then Notifications and digital wellbeing.
  5. Select Night mode, then Disable night mode.

I have a Nest hub gen 2

Thanks for the advice
I opened the night mode settings and it was disabled
This is very strange because if night mode is off nest hub 2 should not dim the display
