How to remove Play/Pause Controls from display when music playing on Spotify

dirtybirdmike11

When I play music from Spotify, I like to read the lyrics. The Google Nest Hub does not remove the Play/Pause Controls from the screen, making me not able to fully see the entire lyrics. I am looking for a way to hide/remove these controls while music is playing. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Hi dirtybirdmike11,

Thanks for visiting the Community.

I understand that it's a good feature from Spotify having the lyrics available. I also tried that from my own Google Nest Hub Max and we're getting the same display. Right now, there's no option for us to remove the music controls while lyrics are flashed on the screen.

In line with this, we’d like to encourage you to send a feedback regarding this and for any features that you’re looking forward to using with our Google Nest devices.

Best,

Princess
