yes agree. If this requires action from Tapo, let them do this. If Google is flexible on this setup, so the only point here is to wait. Please close this thread.

Hello mpDotCom,
Thanks for posting — let's get this sorted out.
Please answer the following: what camera model do you have? Was the voice notification working before? What steps have you taken?
Keep me posted.
Best,
Lovely

Tapo C320WS

Hey mpDotCom,
Chiming in, turning on/off the voice notifications on Tapo C230WS is not supported on the Google Home/Nest devices. We're always looking for ways to improve — we'll take this as feedback. You can also send feedback using your device by saying, "Hey Google, send feedback." Visit this link for more steps.
Let us know if you have additional questions or concerns about the Google Home/Nest devices, otherwise, I'll lock the thread after 24 hours.
Cheers,
Muddi

So sad. I thought Tapo devices are supported, not good if you want to setup home automation. Its either Google do not support or Tapo don’t want to support.

Hi mpDotCom,
It depends on Tapo whether they allow the Google Home/Nest devices to control the settings of their cameras.
Let us know if you still have other questions otherwise, I'll be locking this after 24 hours.
