Hub Max does not show weather/home automation with my account only

Hi guys, my Hub Max Display does does not show weather forecast, home automation and any other services ONLY when it is connected trough my Google account. It reacts to voice and it is obviously connected to the internet, but the display only shows the changing pictures and no other functions. The strangest thing is that when I add the Nest Hub Max trough another Google account(on the same wifi/my wifi at home) it works properly! Even if I erase it from this other Google account and connect it to mine, it starts working properly - shows the weather, automation, all services on the screen and after it restarts it gets "broken" again. Please advice.

Thanks for reaching out. Oh no! That is a really odd and concerning issue. I would be more than happy to help look into this situation. I appreciate you taking the time to try a variety of troubleshooting steps. First, I have some questions and suggestions.

  • Could you please upload a photo of what you are seeing on your display?  
  • Are you the 'owner' of the home structure?
    • Weather and home automation features will only work if you are the 'owner' of the home. 
  • For the other Google account that did work, is it in a separate home structure? 
  • Has this issue always been happening? Or is this something recent?
  • Lastly, could you please tell me any contrasting features or options you see on the Google Home app with your account and the other account that works? 
  • Lastly, are there any differences in account settings with your account and the other account?
