Hub Stating - Sorry Cant Reach Leviton

I installed a Smart Leviton Dimmer Switch 2nd Gen and integrated it with Google Home. I can see the device in Google Home, and the voice commands to turn off and dim work, but when doing so through the HUB 2nd Gen it works then I get the message "Sorry Cant Reach Leviton Right Now."  I don't understand why the voice commands work but the HUB is indicating it can't reach Leviton. Thanks

Sorry to hear about this. Can you confirm if the Gogle Nest Hub is within a good range from the router as well as the Leviton switches? Also, can you try saying the command "OK Google, sync my devices".

Hi,  the device works, but the message that Leviton cannot be reached is still displayed through the Hub. I did the resync and reset the hub, but it still occurs. I believe it is a comm bug.  I will be moving to Lutron switches, so it won't matter now, but thanks for following up.

Lastly, can you give us the cast firmware version of your Google Nest speakers?

 

To check which firmware version you're on, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is linked to the same account as your speaker or display.
  2. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  3. Touch and hold your device's tile.
  4. At the top right, tap Settings and then Device information.
  5. Under "Technical information," find Cast firmware: X.XXX.XXXXX.
