Hub max won't allow face recognition in uk

I'm in the UK, I have a hub max. But the camera won't turn on face recognition. 

In searching for the answer I can see that face recognition isn't allowed in Illinois but no mention of the UK. 

My home is set up with the UK address and other devices are working just fine. Anyone got any ideas?

@Katzilla, we totally understand that these are good features to use with your Nest Hub Max, let's check it out. Was it working before or is this the first time using the feature? When you've set up your Nest Hub Max, have you gone through the part about voice match and face match? Do you see the option to do a face match?
