Hub timers won't stay displayed while playing music/radio

I use my Hub for exactly two things: listening to music/radio in the kitchen, and setting kitchen timers. The timer display will not stay on if any media is playing. I don't need to see the music display; I know what's playing because I can hear it! I do need to see all the timers I've set so that I can monitor them. The timer will display when I ask for it, but revert to showing the media after about 1 minute. This is not a problem if there is no media playing; the timer remains displayed in that case. But if music/radio is playing, the timer display will not stay on, leading to frustration and occasionally burnt food.

Thank you for your post. I am sorry to hear that you are getting frustrated and sometimes having burnt food as a result of not being able to see your timer on your Google Nest Hub display. 
 
Unfortunately, the music will always be displayed first over the timer, that is just how the Google Nest Hub was programmed to do. Thank you for your feature request. I appreciate you sharing your feedback and ideas, I will pass it along to the team. You can also share your feedback through the Google Home App.
