Hulu on Nest Hub Max

Hulu account is linked.  I can cast Hulu from my phone to the Nest Hub Max. 

But, voice commands do not launch Hulu. I get the error "I don't know where to play the video.  Tell me the exact name of the screen." 

I've tied specifying the device name  "Hey Google, play Hulu on Kitchen Display".  Same error.

Please assist.  Thanks.

I have the same problem. In my opinion and experience the Nest Hub Max is a total hunk of junk.  My screen is blurred and the device isn't very old.  Google is no help.  If you are in the return window, I would send it back.

@kcdan, thanks for trying some steps. A few questions: when did the issue start? Is this the first time using Hulu on Nest Hub Max? Also, could you try testing other media like Youtube or Netflix if the issue is the same? Keep me posted.

Replaced it with an Amazon Echo Show 10 that works great.
