I cannot connect a second Google home in my house in a different room with same wifi

I have tried to connect a second google home in my house in a different room so I can listen to something different to my partner.  Can someone guide a silly old bugger on how to do this please?  It is using the same Wi-Fi as the other and I have got so far a setting up another named home in the same address.  Have I done it wrongly?  Please help

If you want them to be completely separate then creating a new home structure for it at the same address it's absolutely fine. You can follow the normal setup steps to setup the device and connect it to the same Wi-Fi network as the other one.
