IR remote by Google homeWhich I would very much like to solve.

Hello guys. I don't have smart TV, but I want to control it with my Google nest mini. So I bought remote IR controller which works with Tuya app. Devices from Tuya can be added to Google home, so I added my IR controller to Google home. And here is a problem, Which I would very much like to solve. 

Problem is - when i touch "volume up" button on Tuya app, the TV will change volume for one unit (for example from volume 10 to volume 11) and that's correct. 

But when I touch "volume up" button at Google home app, the TV will change volume for 10 units (for example from volume 10 to volume 20). It behaves exactly the same when I say "hey Google, TV volume up". 

I am really curious if there is a solution to this problem.

Thanks for answer. Unfortunately I can't do it like this. Google home app showing only devices added to IR controller from Tuya app, the IR controller itself is not displayed. Strangely, all the other buttons work fine, only the volume button has the problem described above.

Apologies for the delayed response. This is not the experience we want you to have; let me help you. A few questions: which Nest speakers are we working with? When did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made? Was the IR controller working with the Google Home app or does it only work when the IR controller is linked to your Tuya app? 

By the way, as our fellow member davidoliver has said, this might be a matter of compatibility. There are certain devices that only work with Google, and some devices may work with Google if they're linked to an app. When checking, this is more of an integration concern. Your IR controller may work with your Tuya app but not work properly with your Google Home app. I suggest that you contact Tuya and ask if the model of your IR controller is compatible with Google Home.
