Incorrect response

Hi,

I have multiple Google speakers and hubs.

Lately when I ask it to do something it does something completely different. When i ask it to play something it gives a long speech about it instead . when asked to stop it plays a song called stop.

We haven't added or changed anything. We have reset devices. We are also using same command words but nothing seems to work on any of them ( over 20 devices) help please!!

Hi Andie78,

Thanks for reaching out.

Sorry to hear about what's happening. Could you please list down the most common commands that you are using as well as its exact response? Also, please check your audio recordings so we can confirm the commands that you have used.

Lastly, since it involves all your Google Nest speakers, let's reboot your network by unplugging your router from the power source for a few minutes to refresh your network settings and network congestions.

Let me know how it goes.

Best,

Princess

I have unplugged the router for 30 mins and on again. No change. When something is playing streamed from my phone and I say "ok Google stop" it will then start playing some random song entitled stop. If I say " ok Google play the corrs on YouTube music" it will just tell me the things a Google can do or say I don't know. We have tried my voice,  kids voices and partners voice. All of which it had responded to in the past but nothing.

Hey Andie78,

Thanks for the added information. Please share a video showing the issue so we can further check what's going on with your device. Also, did you check "My Activity" on the Google Home app to see if your device understands your command?

Cheers,

Muddi

How's it going with your Google Home and Google Nest speakers and displays? We'll be waiting for your short video clip. Also, have you tried checking your "My Activity" page?

Best,

Alex
