Integration to Nestcam not working

Have a Nest Hub Max that has been added to a previous "Home" (my account with my gmail) It has worked perfectly as a NestCam in my Nest app before. I have deleted this "home" and created a new one with the same basic account and associated. Codes. The device is factory reset and set up in the new "home" everything works fine except the integration to Nestcam When I scan the qr code that appears on the screen to complete the installation it fails and the app asks me to try again....

Hi Alex_S

I tried doing as you suggested but it still didn't work. However, I have found the solution myself 😉 Instead of scanning the qr code that appears on the screen, you have to choose to enter the "code" yourself, and now the Nest Cam part  works 🙂

Hi wordsdk,

Thanks for posting—let's get this sorted out. Do you have another Nest device aside from your Google Nest Hub Max? If so, try to move your Google Nest Hub Max closer to the other Nest device (just for the initial setup). Then, uninstall and reinstall the Google Home app > Set up the built-in Nest camera again.

If the issue persists, go to Settings > Apps > See all apps > Select Google Play services > Storage & cache > Manage space > Clear all data. Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Alex
