Is it possible to play audio from a video to Nest Minis to create a wireless speaker array?

I'd like to play a video from say Netflix or YouTube and stream the audio to my nest minis, is that possible?

Hi Jason Waterland 8072,

Thanks for reaching out! Yes, you can absolutely use your Google Nest Minis to hear audio in-sync on both speakers.

  1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as your Chromecast, or speaker or display.
  2. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  3. At the top left, tap Add  and then Create speaker group.
  4. Tap each device you want to add to the group. A check Check will appear next to each device you select.
  5. Tap Next  enter a name for your group  Save

From there, you can open the YouTube or Netflix apps and cast to that speaker group.

Please let me know if you have any other questions. Happy listening!
