Terrible decision to remove media alarms

I just discovered Google is switching off media alarms. This is disgraceful. I want to wake up listening to the radio not an alarm sound. Please please please tell me why I shouldn't just bin my Google mini and buy an alexa instead.

Camera streaming

My hub is linked and streams my tapo camera's. I can stream whichever camera I want but after a certain amount of time it turns off, I wanted to use the monitor for a baby overnight. Is there a way of keeping the stream open?
