Issue between spotify and my main google account specifically

Hey everyone, so im a bit fed up with this so sorry if i sound rude. Google support sent me an empty email and told me to go here.

 

ISSUE: Google assistant cant make Spotify play specific songs or described content

Telling my Nest Audio "Hey google play [SONG] by [ARTIST]" makes my nest reply "[SONG] by [ARTIST] playing on spotify" afterwards nothing happens. Checking my spotify i can tell that nothing has been played.

I have been trouble shooting for the past 4 days and i think i have narrowed down the problem

 

Attempted fixes

- Any combination of unlinking accounts, and relinking accounts (both spotify and google)

- Clean uninstalls and reinstalls of apps

- Factory resetting the Nest Audio

 

Current solutions

- Linking up with a different spotify account with my google account

- Setting up my Nest Audio with a different google account and linking to my spotify

 

Currently using the latter option, but im hoping someone has a possible solution so i wont have to use these obscure workarounds, or be forced to migrate either account.

Sorry it took awhile to get back, hope it isnt too late

I have not tried relinking my main google account for a while, but it may be worth a shot

Chiming in, it looks like I don't have access to the case. I do suggest that you try re-linking your main account to check if that will fix the issue.
