Issue with good morning routine

I had a good morning routine that would start by dismissed alarm on Google home mini. It would play news base on the setup I had. Recently , I would say couple of weeks ago something changed and nothing happens after dismissal of the alarm.

I understand that issues with Routines can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?

I just checked in the Google home app that all that I did set up is there. Otherwise I am not sure how else to troubleshoot it, since all was working and I did not change anything on my end.

Hey there, 

Sorry to hear that you're still having this issue. 

Once you dismiss the alarm, whatever media you have going will stop. If you have a routine set up where you dismiss the alarm and then media should start and it's not happening that way, then that is a different issue. 


Please let me know exactly how you have your Routine set up so that we can work through this together.

I have it set as part of morning routine. It is set up to play news and other things after dismissal on specific g home. Anyway, it seemed to start today after saying Hey Google, stop to dismiss alarm. It doesn't when you dismiss alarm by touching
