Italy Rai Radio 1 on TuneIn

Hello everyone, a simple request trying to solve this problem.

With Google Nest it isn't possible in Italy to listen "Rai Radio 1" (1st Italy radio caster). When ask for this, Google Nest says that it will be played by TuneIn but only silence we get. Other RAI stations (radio 2, radio 3, isoradio...) work instead.

Can anyone everywhere try to play this radio via Google Nest/Mini?

I wish to know if problem is the same worldwide.

Thanks for your reply. In this case, the Google Nest Mini answers with the radio stations that we support that are only available in the US and Canada.

The request is very simple: can anyone, everywhere, try tto play this radio via Nest/Mini? Simply asking  "Hey Google play RAI RADIO ONE".

Hello I'm from Italy too and I can confirm the same problem that you correctly described. I can listen to many italian radios on the Nest mini from TuneIn but when I ask for "Rai Radio 1" the Nest speaker says "Streaming di Radio 1 da TuneIn", then "Welcome to TuneIn" and finally only silence.

If I ask to play "Rai Radio 2", that is from the same broadcaster, everything works correctly same for "Rai Radio 3".

I don't remember exactly but such issue started around May 2024, previously "Rai Radio 1" was working fine too.

I already tried contacting Rai but their support is a joke and I was not able to have a reply.

I'm Italian as well. I have the same problem with Radio Deejay. TuneIn starts, but then it gets stuck, while Radio Capital works well. The issue started a few weeks ago. TuneIn is unstable and unreliable, unfortunately 😞

Same problem with RAI Radio 1 station. Other RAI stations works correctly.

I reported the problem to the Rai support but got no useful feedback at all.

Incredibly today, after months, RAI Radio 1 starts playing without problem. Someone read my message yesterday 😂

I can confirm that it is now working for me too !!! They took almost one year to fix the issue ... let´s hope it will not break again ...

Surprise: yesterday, 16th of february 2025, after months it worked!
I don't know how this has been possible.
