I posted this issue a couple of weeks ago but due to work committments I was unable to reply. Apologies.
I'm still having the same issue with my LG Thinq WK7 speaker hub. The Google assistent works great up to the point where I ask it to play music through my chosen player, Deezer. Google will say the usual about playing 'whatever' on Deezer but then nothing comes. I was given the advice of rebooting my wifi router and a full reset of my speaker which I have tried but still to no avail. Can anyone help me with this quandry?

Hi EmandCeeTee,
Thanks for visiting the Community.
Sorry to hear about your experience with playing music on your speakers. Could you please tell us what are the exact commands you've tried as well as its exact response? Also, were you able to try other music service on your speakers to see if this works?
Best,
Princess

Hi Princess
Thanks for getting in touch. It’s the usual commands “Hey Google. Play music” The response I get is “Sure. Playing music on Deezer” then nothing happens. I’ve tried saying other platforms like YouTube but still nothing. I have performed a full reset on the speaker and at the same time rebooted my router. I have also taken Deezer off my google account and reinstalled it and made it my default player/platform still with no playback. I have checked Deezer to ensure the volume is up so know it should be playing. I’ve even tried to play Deezer through the speaker on Bluetooth but it still doesn’t want to play.
kinda stuck for ideas for what to do next. Help!!

Hey EmandCeeTee,
Chiming in, please note that we have very limited support on third party speakers with built-in Google Assistant like LG speakers. Since all troubleshooting steps have been exhausted we suggest that you reach out to LG support for better assistance.
Cheers,
