LG Voice Control

Have an lg tv. Have linked the lg thinq app to google assistant. Can control tv from lg thinq app, but google home and google assistant cannot control or see that the tv is on. Is there some other troubleshooting I need to do?

A few questions: Is this the first time you linked your LG TV to Google Home? Can you see the LG TV listed in a room within the Google Home app and control it manually? What response are you getting whenever you try to control it via voice command?

Is it coming up in your Home app, but showing as offline?

Did you pair the assistant using the method where you scan the QR code and enter the code displayed on the TV?
